Enter your user name and password as your Quicken client ID and PIN.

Choose Online as the method to set up those accounts.

(If you don't see Vanguard listed, update your financial institution list.)

Choose Vanguard Group and click Continue.

Select the File menu in Quicken, then New, then Account.

To hide an account or display a missing account, modify your Preferred Account View on the Accounts & Activity page on our site.

Only accounts that display in your Preferred Account View will download.

Subsequent downloads will only include new transactions.

To download transactions into separate Quicken accounts, use the Web Connect download through. Direct Connect downloads all Vanguard mutual funds with the same account number into a single Quicken account.Use the instructions on this page or see your Quicken Help files. Always back up your Quicken data file before downloading your transaction data.qfx file or import the file using the 'file' menu to import transactions.Direct Connect lets you download Vanguard transactions directly into Quicken without logging on to. Click Download Account Activity and complete the required information.Choose an account for which you would like to receive transaction activity.This technology automatically launches Quicken, downloads account data into your check register, and matches any transaction you’ve already entered into your register.
